Terms of Service
Working draft against how the app actually behaves. Last updated 4 August 2026.
HomeTerms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Bloolock ("we", "us") for use of the Bloolock app. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Bloolock is not medical or therapeutic care
Bloolock is a habit and alarm-clock app. It is not a medical device, a treatment, a diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care, and nobody who replies to you inside it is acting as your clinician.
If you are struggling with an addiction, your mental health, or thoughts of harming yourself, please talk to a doctor or a qualified professional, or contact a local crisis line. In India you can reach Tele-MANAS on 14416, free, 24 hours a day. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
2. Who may use it
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18 to use the parts of the app that deal with adult material. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
3. Your subscription
- Full access to Bloolock requires a paid subscription.
- Google Play bills you, not us. The price, currency, introductory offer and renewal date shown at purchase are the terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You are charged for the next period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it begins.
- Cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
- Deleting your Bloolock account does not cancel your subscription. Do both.
- We may change the price of future periods. You will be told before a change affects you, and you can cancel.
4. Referrals
Where a referral reward is offered, a reward is earned only when the person you referred actually pays for their first period. Self-referrals and gaming are void. Refunded payments take the reward back.
5. How you may behave
In shared rooms and messaging, do not:
- harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone;
- post sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal;
- share anyone else's private information;
- advertise, spam, or recruit;
- pose as someone else, or as a medical professional;
- pressure anyone about their recovery, or offer medical advice.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without warning where the breach is serious.
6. Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us limited permission to store it and show it to the people you posted it to. We do not sell it, publish it outside the app, or use it to train any model.
7. What we do not promise
We will try to keep Bloolock working and the alarms ringing, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Alarm reliability depends on your phone: battery optimisation, Do Not Disturb, silent modes, and manufacturer power management can delay or silence an alarm. Do not rely on Bloolock alone where missing the alarm would be seriously harmful. The app is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from a missed alarm, lost data, or your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights as a consumer.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop anytime by deleting your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service — with reasonable notice, and without charging for a period you cannot use.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Bloolock after that means you accept the change.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction — except where your own country's law gives rights or a forum that cannot be taken away by contract.
